We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggle your sons are facing with drug addiction. We will stand with you in prayer for their deliverance and healing in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge that there is power in the name of Jesus. As the Bible tells us, "in [Jesus] name, they will carry out demons, they will speak with new languages they will take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them." (Mark 16:17 WEB). We will pray to Jesus, the name above all names, for He is the only way to salvation and freedom.
Let us pray together:
Dear Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus. We lift up our dear Criehold and their sons, who are battling drug addiction. Lord, we know that Your heart breaks for them, just as ours do.
Father, we pray for Your deliverance and healing. We ask You than you release them from any spiritual bondage that has kept them from living a life free from addiction. Lord Jesus, You came to set the captives free, and we claim that promise for Criehold's sons in Your name. "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36 WEB).
We also pray for Criehold, that You would strengthen their faith and give them the wisdom to support and guide their sons through this difficult time. Surround them with Your love and provide for them the support they need from Your community."Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is that who upholds my soul" (Psalm 54:4 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to leave Criehold's sons. We declare that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and that no stronghold will remain."Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are." (1 Corinthians 3:16-17 WEB).
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Criehold, remember that God is faithful. Continue to trust in Him and stand on His promises. We encourage you to keep praying and declaring God's word over your sons' lives. As we have prayed to Jesus Christ than you know He is your savior. As we have prayed this prayer to Jesus Christ, you have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believed in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead. You shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-13 WEB). We encourage you to live your life believing in Jesus Christ and call on His name.
We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for your sons' complete restoration. Keep holding on to hope and remember Jesus' promises to never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
