We understand your concern for your son, Tachick, and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on God's Word.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing God's will in this situation. It's important to trust in His plan, as Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray for your son's therapy session, that it would be productive and beneficial for his mental health. We ask God to guide the therapist and grant them wisdom to provide the best care for your son.
Regarding your concern about your son hurting himself, we want to remind you of the power of God's love and protection. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that God would be close to your son, comforting him and keeping him safe.
Moreover, we pray that God would fill your son's heart with joy and happiness. In Psalm 16:11, we read, "You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore." May your son find joy in God's presence.
We also want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in Jesus. If you haven't already, invite Jesus into your son's life. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all things, including your son's mental health. In Romans 12:2, we are told, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Tachick's son. Lord, we ask that You would be with him during his therapy session, guiding both him and the therapist. We pray for his mental health, that You would grant him happiness and keep him safe from harm. Fill his heart with Your joy and love, Lord. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
