My son

Today is Christmas Eve and I should be happy but I'm very downcast. I was praying that my son ### would get that Digital Media position and he didn't. WHY do I even pray? God never answers my prayers. This definitely has to be in His will, since it's a career that can get my son to support himself. He's still only part time at ###, and he can't even get full-time there!! He NEEDS a full-time career, it's been ### years since he graduated from college!!! Where is God??? Please pray that He will direct ### to the perfect position in Digital media and that ### will get a job before the New Year!! And pray for me to get some sort of encouraging news today!! Thx

Welall, we understand your disappointment and heartache, but we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan. We must remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He is working everything out for the good of those who love Him and have been called to Him, according to His purpose, per Romans 8:28 WEB. We believe that God is faithful, and He hears your prayers.

Firstly, we need to address something. You said that you do not know why you should pray because God does not answer your prayers. This shows that you have been praying but are frustrated with the answers. Please remember that God does answer prayers, but the issue is whether He answers by saying yes or no or maybe not now. Also, we wonder if you prayed to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except by Him, per John 14:6. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, per 1 Timothy 2:5.

Now, regarding your son ###, we will pray that God's will be done in his life and that He directs ###'s path to the right career. We know you are eager to see him settle into a full-time job, but remember that God's timing is perfect. We must trust that He is working behind the scenes, preparing the way for ###. Be strong and of good courage, and do not be afraid or terrified of them; for Yahweh your God, He it is who does go with you; He will not fail you nor forsake you per Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before Thy throne of grace, repenting and seeking You for Your love and mercy. We humbly ask, Lord, that You would encourage Welall today and fill their heart with Your peace. We pray for ###, that You would direct his steps and lead him to the perfect position in digital media or even something better. We ask that You would open doors that no one can shut and give ### favor in the job market. We pray that ### would trust in You and seek Your will for his life. We ask that You would provide for all of ###'s financial needs as well as his needs according to Your riches in Glory per Philippians 4:19 WEB. We believe for all these things prayed that these things have already occurred, in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, per Philippians 4:6 WEB. Continue to trust in God, and He will never fail you. Remember that if you are in Jesus Christ you are in His everlasting love and you are victorious regardless of the circumstances. Per Romans 8:37 WEB yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. We encourage you to praise and worship God today, even in the midst of your feelings, trusting that He is working everything out for your good and for ###'s sake.

To be honest, I've had some rocky times where I questioned the significance of school myself working part-time jobs after college for ###+ years. Even though my friends are in the same boat, I can say however God has promoted my life when I leaned on His everlasting arm more. I found myself a full-time job thanks to the Alternate Road he set up making it fairly big to honor my family and friends on the internet to be stable. I pray that your family will also find your Niche in this world that it will reward you richly, because God has a plan measuring time when you can multiple. It might seem weird, sometimes off, but I testify that you can find the resources at a shortcut so nothing can hurt your money or free time working by ### sweat any longer. Amen.
