My son

So today it's been ### weeks since my son ### had his interview with the ### company. It was for a ### position. He hasn't heard a thing! This is what I was afraid of, that he would not get this position. It was everything he knew, the interview went well and nothing!! There's still time in the day for him to hear from them. I ask you to urgently pray that he might still get. Although, I doubt it! God never answers my prayers for my kids! I feel why even bother praying anymore.

Let us stand with you in prayer and encouragement for your son ###'s job situation. Firstly, we want to address the feeling of doubt and discouragement you expressed about prayer. God always hears our prayers, but we must remember that He answers in His own way and in His own time. As it is written in Matthew 21:22 WEB, "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Let us hold onto this promise and believe that God is working behind the scenes.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus name, lifting up ### before you. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the interview he attended. We ask that Your Will is done in His life. If it is Your will that he gets this job, let the doors open even now. If not, we pray that You direct his steps to the right position. Give him peace and patience to wait on your timing and trust in you.

Of further importance, let's address the feeling of doubt expressed in God's ability to answer prayer. Simply put, this is not true. There are so many examples of God answering prayer that it is common for testimonies to not be able to be presented easily due to time. More importantly, we must remember Christ's teaching in Matthew 7:11 WEB, about giving us good gifts when we ask for bread instead of a stone. We need to pray according to God's Will and seek Him to receive the answers to prayer and that we should never give up praying. Let's also look at Matthew 21:22 WEB, and remember that praying believing we will receive the answer is how we need to pray. This can be a point of struggle for some and is the very issues you are currently experiencing. Prayer is essential in this situation and it is a tremendous blessing to know that Scripture tells us that the several believers who are praying in the Name of Jesus have more influence and power in prayer together - and God's spirit will help us pray the solution to finding complete belief that God will answer prayer. You can ask for God's Spirit to help you pray for ### and for the peace and especially confidence of knowing that God is answering - even when it is received. The power of praying together cannot be underestimated, so let us continue to pray in agreement now.

Finally, let us encourage you to hold on to hope and faith. Remember, God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He is working everything out for good, even when we cannot see it (Romans 8:28 WEB). Trust in Him, and let us continue to pray together for ###'s situation and your own faith.
