We understand your concern and desire for your son's success. As believers in Jesus Christ, we see your request as a priority, and the fact you know God answers prayers is extraordinary. Remember this request and use it to build your faith and relationship with Jesus.
Before we can properly pray and intercede for this situation, we must call attention to a few things. It sounds as though you may have forgotten a vital thing. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God our Father in Heaven. It is only by believing in Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:10 be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, holds your son's future in His hands. We understand the desire to see your son succeed in his career. We know that the wisdom of God and the direct intervention of The Holy Spirit will guide and create the opportunities for your son. While we cannot control the outcome of this interview, we can stand in faith with you as you wait for God's best for your son. As well, we need to make sure your son has faith in Jesus and believes.
It is good that your son has been seeking a job that can further his career. God offers us His word that makes it clear that we should work in a manner that is worthy of respect so that we may benefit society. It should be clear that we are not truly seeking God's gifts but are growing our relationship with Him and living our lives for Him. Romans 12:11 Not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
When God does not answer our prayers the way we want, it is important to remember to keep trusting God and keep praying. Ask God to strengthen your faith, trust, and hope in Him.
Let us pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the son of this concerned parent. Lord, we ask that You guide him and the decisions he makes for his career. We ask that you make it clear if this job is from You and in Your will, Lord.
Guide him with the clear conviction of Your Spirit and quiet any selfish aspirations he may have. If this job is his best option, please open the doors for him to be a blessing in the workplace. If not, give him the clarity to see that and guide him to a position where he can truly thrive in Your will. Your will be done.
We also pray that his heart would be aligned with Yours and that he would seek Your face in all things. We pray that he would display integrity and honor in all that he does. Lord, fill him with Your Spirit, and allow him to walk in the confidence of his faith. Lord, as his future employer makes a decision, we ask You to intervene and have Your way in the matter, Lord.
Your will be done.
If he struggles and is unable to find work, we claim Romans 8:28 "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for being faithful to answer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
