We join with you, Apothnomai, in lifting up your son to the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The Bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." This promise holds true for your son as he seeks God's face and turns from his past addictions.
We pray, "Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Apothnomai's son. Lord, You know his struggles and his heart's desire to overcome addiction and live a life pleasing to You. Strengthen him in his weakness, Lord, and grant him the power to resist temptation. Surround him with godly friends who will encourage and uplift him, friends who will point him to You, Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You continue to draw him near to You, that he may know Your love and grace. Let Your Holy Spirit work in his life, convicting him of sin and guiding him in righteousness. We claim Your promise in Philippians 1:6 (WEB), 'being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.'
Apothnomai, we commend your faith in Jesus Christ for your son's salvation and transformation. Remember, it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Continue to encourage your son in his walk with the Lord, and we believe that God will work all things together for good, as promised in Romans 8:28 (WEB). Stay steadfast in prayer and faith, trusting in God's love and power to change your son's life for good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
