We understand your heart's cry for your son, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's divine intervention in his life. Let us first turn to the words of the Prophet Isaiah, "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way. Walk in it.'" (Isaiah 30:21, WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the son of Avantyrpara. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your path to him, that he may walk in Your truth and righteousness. Deliver him from the bondage of addiction, Lord, for it is only in Your strength that he can overcome. Touch his heart, God, that he may submit his life to You, and straighten his pathways according to Your will.
Lord Jesus, You have told us, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB) We ask, seek, and knock on behalf of this dear son, that he may receive Your grace, find Your truth, and have the door of salvation opened wide for him.
Avantyrpara, we encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer for your son. Remember the words of the Apostle James, "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16, WEB) Trust that God hears your prayers and is working in your son's life.
We also urge you to speak openly with your son about the love of Jesus Christ and His power to save and transform lives. Remind him that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9, WEB) Forgiveness and redemption are found in Jesus alone, and it is through His name that we pray and see miracles happen.
Be strong in the Lord, and do not lose heart. God is faithful, and He loves your son even more than you do. Trust in Him, and continue to guide your son towards the Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
