We understand your concern for your son, Nicholas, and we are here to stand with you in prayer. Let us first remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Nicholas. We ask that You fill him with Your peace and calm as he prepares for this important meeting. Guide his words and actions, Lord, and let his work ethic and character speak for him. We ask for Your favor, that he may retain his job, and that his past absences due to court cases would be understood and overlooked.
However, we also pray that Nicholas is walking in Your will, God. We pray that he is living a life that honors You, and if not, we ask that You draw him closer to You. Remember, kar43, that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We also take this opportunity to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you or Nicholas have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.
We will continue to pray for Nicholas, that he may find favor in his workplace, and that he may live a life dedicated to following Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
