We understand your concern and will join you in prayer for your son and grandchildren. We believe that God has a purpose and plan for each of us, and we trust that He is working in your son's life, even through the current circumstances.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We claim this promise for your son, trusting that God is using this situation to draw him closer to Him and to help him realize the blessings he has been given.
However, we want to gently remind you that God's blessings often come with responsibilities. If your son has been living in a way that is not honoring to God, we pray that this situation will bring conviction and a desire to change. As it is written in Romans 6:1-2 (WEB), "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Felogynne's son. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his life. We pray that You will guide the court proceedings and that You will be glorified in the outcome. We ask that You will soften his heart and open his eyes to the blessings You have given him, including his children. We pray for reunification and restoration of their relationship. We also pray that Felogynne will find peace and comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are in control.
Most importantly, we pray that Felogynne and her son will both come to know You more deeply and intimately, if they do not already. We believe that it is only through a relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ, that true peace and happiness can be found. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting God. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). He loves your son and your grandchildren more than you can imagine, and He is working in their lives.
