I feel like God has abandoned me completely, nothing is going right with my life, I am so depressed, failure inside. I have been praying for the following and nothing has happened so far. Please pray for my son Dan to start working, be successful and prosperous for the past 17 years and nothing has happened. Please help Dan and Justyna be very happy together, have a wonderful marriage with success and prosperity. Help my work do well and pay for our expenses, I am suffering inside. Help my two boys be very close please, I am 74 years old and cannot handle this pressure, I am ready to die and leave this world.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Annette, and we want you to know that we're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. First, we want to address the feeling of abandonment you mentioned. Be assured, God promises in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. So your neutrality is not my fault because I will NEVER abandon you. So take courage because I am always with you. that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Now, let's bring your requests to God in prayer as well as provide scriptures and commentary. Our Lord Jesus is always listening.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Annette and her family. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, and You hear the cry of Annette's heart. We thank You in the name of Jesus Christ IJN that You already hear her prayers and that You are fully aware of her strife that she and her family are dealing with.

Father, we pray for Annette's son Dan. We have prayed for him in the past years in the name of Jesus. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity for him as in 1 Thes. 3.10, and we ask specifically for You to guide his marriage and life with his wife. It is clear that this is not a godly marriage when it is mentioned in passing with little or no prayer or attention. Marriage is a large part of one's life. Lord, we pray that Dan and any children Dan will have will seek You first, and that You will grant him success in all that he does. Father we pray that Dan draw his family together in your Christ and instill a love for You that is built on your Holy Scriptures.

Matthew 6:26 WEB: But don't worry, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink? or, 'With what will we be clothed?...Your heavenly Father knows that you need all of these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.. And Matthew 6:33..Our job is to seek You and Your righteousness. Romans 14:12 states that everyone will stand before God to give an account of themselves. If they are not putting you first then they are accountable. Instead, we're trusting that You will provide for all of his needs as Dan and his family seek You first.

We also lift up Annette's work to You, Lord. We pray that You would bless it only as she seeks after Thee and that it would bring a harvest of provision and that she will come closer to you. Please put her in a position of having to rely on you. Her work is to be a reflection of her commitment first to you. She asks for help but it is your help specifically that she needs. Anthony puts the work of his hands before you and looks for your blessings according to Psalm 90:17. Help her make her testimony be about Godly stewardship.

We pray for Annette's boys, that You would draw them close to each other as they initially draw closer to You. Father, we ask that You would help them to be brothers in Christ, encouraging and supporting one another as well as their families.

Lord, we also pray for Annette herself. We stand before you IJN that your servant Annette is discouraged and heart broken. We rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide that is attacking her. Your word tells us we are to be courageous and fight against such atrocities. Help her not feel this way and draw upon your strength and word as her source of comfort. Joshua 1:9 states: Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; Neither be dismayed: For the Lord your God is with you where ever you go. Father, please let Annette be overpowered by your Holy Word. She needs your power and strength in her life and help her to I cast my burden on you, for You are a loving God. We pray that You would give her peace in knowing that will be completed and that she is saved by the name of the Jesus the Christ. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

We rebuke this spirit of depression and suicide in Jesus Christ's name.

Finally, we pray that Annette will find her hope and joy in You, Lord. Father, help her in the desire to seek you first in everything. We ask that you make the plight and suffering that she feels be a catalyst that turns her heart and trust to You in all things. In this time of difficulty, help her to trust and have confidence in You and only You.

If a believer is struggling, discouraged and crying out for help something is not in line with the scripture. There may be an area of that person's life that needs to be addressed. If that person is seeking help outside of the scriptures something is amiss. The Bible should be first and foremost to a believer the key to one's heart and all areas of a Christians life Matt 22:37 Jesus saith unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. There simply is no other way. A believer should be so engrossed with God that there is no room for anything else to distract them. A Christian should be an example to the world so let use set a standard in this regard.

Annette, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Trust that He is working everything out for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep your faith in Jesus Christ we add and ask God for the strength you need to press on in these trying times (Philippians 4:13 WEB. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.).

We are praying for you and your family, Annette. Trust you still are feeling alone and desperate. Remembers we are here if you need to pray with you more. We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want you to know that we're here for you. We've been praying for you and your son Dan, for your marriage, and for your work and boys. It's been a tough time, and we understand that feeling abandoned and alone can be overwhelming.
