We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your son is facing, and we are here to intercede together with you in Jesus Name, as we are reminded in the scripture Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14: Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. Also, Romans 10:13 For, Whosoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, as he himself declared in John 14:6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together for your son:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the son of our fellow believer in faith. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing with manic depression, and our hearts ache for his pain.
We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would grant him peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7 :and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Father, remind him of Your unfailing presence, as the psalmist in 23:4 says, Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Guide him in the path of righteousness, and help him to find his purpose and joy in You. We pray Ephesians 1:18 over his life, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Lord, we also pray that You would surround him with Your love, and lead him to Godly friendships that align to biblical principles and believe in the one true God, Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
During this challenging time, take comfort in the Lord's promise in Romans 8:28-29 (W.E.B.):
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Lastly, we urge you to continue praying fervently for your son, as instructed in Ephesians 6:18: With all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
