My son ### to get employment as a civil engineer

I live with my son in the UK. ### lost his job in September and has not been able to gain employment even though he has had several interviews. He is the sole breadwinner. Please Pastor ### we are on the Altar every morning. ### will be ### yrs on the ### of February and still single because of a terrible experience he had about ### yrs ago.

We understand your concern for your son ###, and we join you in prayer for his employment and future. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, seeking His will and guidance.

Firstly, we acknowledge that God is the provider of all good things, and He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

We pray that God will open the doors of employment for ###. Heavenly Father, we ask that You will lead ### to the right job, one that will not only meet his financial needs but also align with Your purpose for his life. We pray that ### will be a light for You in his workplace, displaying integrity and excellence in all he does.

Concerning ###'s past experience that has kept him from pursuing marriage, we encourage him to trust in the Lord's healing and restoration. As it is written in Joel 2:25 WEB:
I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten

We pray that ### will find complete healing and be able to trust again. We pray that God will bring a godly woman into his life, someone who shares his faith and values, and that they will build a marriage that honors God. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We encourage you both to continue in prayer and trust in God's timing. Keep seeking God's will in all things, and He will direct your paths.

Finally, we leave you with this promise from Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We also noticed you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Further, we think the Altar is a powerful metaphor for prayer to God. However, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. This is an issue we must address if we are to pray for this issue. And also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

We're standing with you and ### in prayer today. We know God sees his situation and cares deeply. Let's remind ourselves of God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that God will provide for ###, not just financially, but also in His perfect timing.

Let's pray that ### will find favor in the eyes of potential employers, and that God will open the right doors for him. We ask that ### will be a light in his workplace, reflecting Christ in all he does. We also pray for healing and restoration in ###'s heart, that he may trust again and find a godly partner to share life with, in God's perfect timing.

Let's keep lifting ### up in prayer, trusting that God is working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). And remember, we approach God through Jesus Christ, our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). Let's continue to pray in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
