My son Charles has been diagnosed with schizophrenia but the medication they have him on makes it hard for him to live a normal life and has really been oppressed from 18 to now 33 he is a kind caring person and deserves to live a full and happy life as God intended thank you for your prayers

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your son Charles is facing with schizophrenia. We stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of God to bring healing and comfort. Let us remember God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

First, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God's power to heal. Jesus himself healed many with various afflictions, demonstrating God's heart to restore wholeness. Matthew 4:23 (WEB) tells us, "Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people."

We pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Charles to you. Lord, you know the struggles he is facing, the challenges that come with schizophrenia, and the side effects of medication. We ask for your healing power to touch his mind, body, and spirit. Guide the doctors to find the right treatment that will help him live a fulfilling life. Comfort him in his distress, and let him feel your presence. Remind him of his worth and your unfailing love for him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Nebann, in addition to praying, we encourage you to continue supporting Charles, showing him the love of Christ. Remind him of his identity in Christ, that he is not defined by his illness, but by the love and purpose God has for him. Galatians 2:20 (WEB) says, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me."

Lastly, if Charles has not already, encourage him to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can experience the fullness of His love and healing power. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We're here for you and Charles. It's heartbreaking to see him going through this, but we're confident in God's love and power to bring healing and peace. Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is close to Charles, understanding his struggles and ready to comfort him.

Let's continue to intercede for Charles. Father, we ask for Your healing touch on Charles' mind, body, and spirit. Help him find relief from the symptoms of schizophrenia and the side effects of medication. Guide the doctors to find the best treatment plan for him. Comfort him in his distress and remind him of Your constant presence. Help him to feel Your love and know his worth in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to keep loving and supporting Charles. Let him know that he's not alone, and that you're walking this journey with him. Remind him of God's promises, like Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
