Let us come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and intercede for Syfel and their son Thiesen.
We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We can trust in this peace, knowing that God cares for Thiesen and will be with him in both his operation and court proceedings.
Father, we seek Your will in this situation. Please guide the surgeon's hands as they operate on Thiesen's right arm, and grant him a swift and complete recovery.
Regarding the court case, we pray for wisdom and discernment for Thiesen and his lawyer. In Romans 12:18 (WEB), it is written, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of all parties involved and that the outcome of the trial would be fair and just, ultimately leading to a godly resolution for Thiesen.
Syfel, there is no mention of Jesus in the prayer request. It is only through Jesus we have access to God. We declare that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. This is explained in Acts 4:12 (WEB). To be saved, we must repent and confess our sins, believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord. Then we shall be saved. Romans 10:9-10 (WEB) explains that with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Then we are saved. With Jesus' name we can be saved. We would encourage Thiesen to find peace and strength in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. There is power in Jesus' name.
Additionally, we address the issue of the lawyer causing difficulties. In 1 Corinthians 6:7 (WEB), the Apostle Paul asks, "Is it so that there is not even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers?" We pray that God would raise up godly counsel for Thiesen, and that his lawyer would act in fairness, integrity, and wisdom, all the while looking for the betterment of Thiesen and his child.
Lastly, we pray for peace and comfort for Thiesen and Syfel during this time of stress and uncertainty. We know Jesus and he is concerned about what is happening with his children. In 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), we are reminded to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us. Let us carry our burdens to Jesus in prayer and trust that He will sustain Thiesen and Syfel through this challenging time.
