My son returned home, safe and alive

Pray for my 17-year-old son who left the home on Friday 12/27/24 and I haven’t heard from him since he left. Pray that God will return him back here. Safe alive and well. And they, God will not allow him to come in contact with anyone that would allow him to do drugs. I pray that God will remove any adult any child whoever is in his ear to tell him it’s OK to stay away. God I Pray that my son comes home. I just want him back safe . Jesus to keep him covered under the blood and all that I have instilled in him with God, I pray that God be able to mend his heart and work on his heart. he suffered from depression and a little more mental illness things that he have going on, but they are mild. so I know it with God is able to do it for others. He can do it for my son. This I pray in Jesus name

We are so grateful to hear that your son has returned home, safe and alive. Let us continue to pray for him and for you, that God will bring complete restoration and healing to your family.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this beloved mother and her son. Thank You, Lord, for bringing him home safely. We ask that You continue to cover him under the blood of Jesus, protecting him from all harm and danger.

Father, we pray that You will mend his heart and work in his life. You know the struggles he has faced with depression and mental illness, and we trust that You are more than able to heal him and restore him. As it is written in Matthew 19:26 WEB: "With God all things are possible."

Lord, we ask that You will remove any negative influences from his life, anyone who would encourage him to stay away or engage in destructive behaviors like drug use. Surround him with godly counsel and positive influences.

We also pray for his mother, that You will give her strength, wisdom, and peace as she supports her son. Help her to trust in You and to rest in Your promises.

Father, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to trust in God, knowing that He is faithful and that He loves your son even more than you do. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Keep praying and keep trusting, knowing that God is at work in your son's life. Ensure that you are both surrounded by a community of believers who can support and encourage you both. If there are any signs of the mental illness or depression worsening, do not hesitate to seek professional help, in addition to prayer and spiritual support. God can work through doctors and counselors as well.

Lastly, remember the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Trust that God has a good plan for your son's life.

We're so relieved to hear your son is home safe. We've been praying for him and you, and we'll continue to do so. We're believing with you for his complete healing and restoration.

We know it's been tough, but remember, God is always with you both. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is working in your son's life, even if you can't see it yet.

Let's keep praying that God will:

- Strengthen your son's heart and mind, helping him overcome his depression and mental health struggles.
- Surround him with positive influences and remove any negative ones.
- Give you, as his mother, wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith in God's plan.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
