My son needs God's peace

For my son Demitri to stop drinking, Stop be depressed, and to get his sons. For him to find God again.

We understand your concern for your son, Eldeld, and we are here to pray and offer guidance according to God’s Word.

Firstly, we encourage you to remember that God has promised peace to those who trust in Him. As it is written in Philippians 4:7, "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Regarding your son Demitri's struggles with drinking and depression, we recognize these as significant challenges. It’s important to know that God desires to heal and restore. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We also understand your hope for Demitri to find God again. We know that God is always seeking the lost and wishes for all to come to repentance and faith. As 2 Peter 3:9 states, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Moreover, we believe it is crucial to pray for Demitri to find his way back to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As Acts 4:12 teaches, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Demitri to you, asking for Your divine intervention in his life. Lord, please help him to overcome his struggles with drinking and depression. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide him back to a relationship with You, that he may know the joy and hope that come from being in Your presence. We ask that you grant the desires of his mother’s heart, that Demitri may find his sons and bring them up in the way of the Lord. Amen."

We encourage you, Eldeld, to continue praying fervently for Demitri, trusting that God hears your prayers and is able to bring about change. May God comfort and strengthen you in this time of need.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, seeking Your strength and comfort for Demitri. Lord, You know his struggles with drinking and depression. You see his heart, and we believe that You want to heal him even more than we do. Please, Lord, wrap Your loving arms around him. Fill him with Your peace that truly surpasses all understanding. Help him to find his way back to You, to feel Your love and presence in his life again. Give him the courage to let go of his past and the strength to face each day with hope. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
