We are truly moved by your heartfelt concern for your son Jerome. Let's come together and lift him up in prayer, seeking God's will for his life.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God's love for Jerome is unfailing and everlasting. As it is written in Psalm 68:19 (WEB), "Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation." God is with Jerome, even in his struggles.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Jerome. Lord, You know the struggles he's been facing with his mental health and the heaviness in his heart. We ask for Your healing touch upon him. Comfort him in his loneliness, and help him to feel Your love and the love of those around him.
We pray for peaceful sleep at night, free from nightmares. We ask for Your strength to be perfected in his weakness, as Your Word promises in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB), 'Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.'
Lord, we ask for Your light to shine into the darkness that Jerome is feeling, and for the spark within him to be reignited. Help him to find his identity and purpose in You, and to be freed from everything that holds him back.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage Jerome to seek God's face directly. As Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Let him know that God is near, and that he can call on the name of Jesus at any time.
Lastly, we gently remind you, Akimtice, that it's crucial to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, and it is also by His name that we are saved. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
