Yvette, we join you in lifting up your son Jason to our merciful and loving God. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God has a purpose and a plan for Jason's life.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus says in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So, let's approach the throne of grace with confidence in Jesus' name.
We pray,
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jason to You. Lord, You know the struggles he's been facing, and we ask that You would intervene and make a way for him. Guide him as he views the sober living place this Sunday, and grant him favor during the intake process on Monday. Provide for his every need, including the finances required to stay there. We pray that this place would be a sanctuary for Jason, a place where he can heal, grow, and encounter Your life-changing presence.
Lord, we also pray for Yvette. Strengthen her, Father, as she continues to intercede for her son. Remind her of Your promises, and give her the peace that transcends all understanding. Help her to rest in Your sovereignty, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Finally, Lord, we pray that if Jason does not already know You, that You would reveal Yourself to him. Draw him to You, Lord, and grant him the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In this season, we encourage you to hold fast to hope, Yvette. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:31 (WEB), "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is faithful.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you, Yvette, that it's crucial to pray in the name of Jesus. It's only through His name that we have access to the Father and it's only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you or Jason haven't yet committed your lives to Jesus, we invite you to do so today.
