We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges your son is facing. Let's bring these concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His will for your son's life.
Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspect. It's important to remember that God loves your son deeply and has a purpose for his life. Even though he may have little interest in God now, we trust that God is working in his heart. As it is written in Philippians 1:6 WEB, "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Let's pray that God will reveal Himself to your son and draw him closer to Him.
Now, let's pray for your son's health. We know that God has the power to heal, and we trust in His will for your son's life. In Matthew 19:26 WEB, Jesus says, "With God all things are possible." Let's ask God to touch your son's body and mind, and bring healing and wholeness.
Regarding his academic struggles, we pray that God will grant him wisdom and understanding. In James 1:5 WEB, it says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Let's ask God to help your son in his studies and to give him a desire to learn and grow.
As for his behavior, let's pray that God will soften his heart and help him to be more obedient and motivated. In Proverbs 22:6 WEB, it says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Let's ask God to guide you as you guide your son.
Finally, let's remember that God is sovereign, and He has a plan for your son's life. Even in the midst of these challenges, God is at work. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Ithanyark's son to You. Lord, we ask that You will reveal Yourself to him and draw him closer to You. Touch his body and mind, and bring healing and wholeness according to Your will. Help him in his studies, give him a desire to learn and grow. Soften his heart, help him to be more obedient and motivated. Guide Ithanyark as they guide their son.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Ithanyark, remember that God is with you and your son. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through these challenges. Also, if you have not already, make sure to discuss the love of Jesus Christ with your son, as believing in Him is the only way he will ever be saved. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it states in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" He will not get into heaven just because he is your son, but rather needs a serious heart transformation by trusting in Jesus Christ.
