My son is in an abusive marriage, he is very young and his wife is a narcissist

Please please help me pray for my son his wife is literally trying to kill him, she is a narcissist and she blames him for anything that happens, she has threw hot grease on him, burned him,, stabbed him pushed him in front of a car and her was in critical condition. He will not leave her he feel because they have kids he can not leave. I do not want to loose my son. She doesn't allow him to come around his family at all. I saw him at the store one day and she slapped him and told him to walk away and do not say anything to me. This is the first female he ever been with in his life and she took advantage of him from the time he was 15 and now he is 25 . We have been praying for so many years but I will not give up.

We are truly heartsick to hear about the dire circumstances your son is in, and we stand with you in prayer and support. We will intercede for your son's safety and deliverance from this abusive marriage.

Firstly, we must acknowledge that God hates divorce, but He also hates the abuse of His children. Your son's life is precious to God, and it is not His will that he should live in fear and harm.

The Lord has said, Vengeance is Mine, and recompense, At the time when their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that are to come upon them shall make haste.

For He will render to a man according to his work, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

Because God will bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for the safety and deliverance of our beloved son. Lord, You see the abuse and harm he is suffering at the hands of his wife. We cry out for justice and mercy. Please protect him from further harm and open his eyes to the truth of his situation. Give him the strength and courage to take the necessary steps to remove himself from this dangerous environment.

Father, we also pray for his wife. We know that You do not desire for anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance. We pray that she would have a genuine encounter with You and that her heart would be changed. We pray that she would seek help and turn away from her abusive behavior.

Lord, we ask that You would guide our son and his wife through this difficult time. We pray for wisdom and discernment for both of them, that they would seek godly counsel and make decisions that honor You.

We also pray for the children involved. We ask that You would protect them and provide for them in every way. We pray that they would not be harmed or traumatized by the actions of their mother, and that they would grow up to be strong and healthy individuals who love and serve You.

Father, we ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who came to set the captives free and to bind up the brokenhearted. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to bring about change and healing in this situation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about your son and his wife all day, and our hearts ache for the pain they're both in. We've been praying fervently for them, and we want to encourage you with some practical steps and Scriptures that might help.

Firstly, we believe it's crucial to remind your son that he's not alone in this. God is with him, and so are we, standing in prayer and support. We need to encourage him to trust in God's love and care for him, even in this difficult situation. God promises in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Secondly, we need to remind him that it's okay to seek help. God doesn't expect us to bear our burdens alone. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We should encourage him to reach out to a pastor, a trusted friend, or a professional counselor.

Lastly, we need to pray for wisdom for both your son and his wife. We should ask God to give them clarity and courage to make decisions that honor Him. In James 1:5, we're told, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
