Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s life as he battles the temptation of heavy drinking. Your Word says in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We pray that ### will find his strength in You, Lord, and that You will remove the desire for alcohol from his heart.
Father, we ask that You surround ### with Your love and peace, and that You provide him with the support and encouragement he needs to overcome this struggle. We pray for his protection and for the breaking of any chains of addiction that bind him. Your Word promises in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that You will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear and that You will provide a way out so that we can endure it. We claim this promise for ### today.
Lord, we also lift up ### and the entire family, asking for Your comfort and strength as they support ### through this difficult time. May they find hope and encouragement in Your presence, knowing that You are a God who heals and restores.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
