Let us first thank Jeenorunian for reaching out and seeking prayer for their son-in-law. It is important to remember that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. "
Jeenorunian, in addressing your prayer request, we stand with you in praying for your son-in-law's physical and mental well-being. We trust that God, in His mercy, will hear our prayers and grant your son-in-law the peace and rest he needs. Let our prayers be a testament to our faith in God as stated in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifted up by Jeenorunian on behalf of their son-in-law. Lord, we ask that You grant him peaceful nights and calm his anxious heart. We know by first Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" that you bear his burdens just as you bore ours. Guide him to the knowledge of your love and care for him that he may find rest in Your presence.
Father, we also pray that your Holy Spirit may be at work in his life. May this situation be an opportunity for him to draw closer to You and experience the peace that only You can provide. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that he may come to know You, recognize Jesus Christ as his savior and begin to live a life that honors You in Jesus name.
Jeenorunian, while praying we also encourage you to keep the faith and remain steadfast in prayer. These things may be common to man, but by 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." so continue to encourage your son-in-law to trust in God and cast his anxieties on Him.
Lastly, we would like to encourage you to continue praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father. It is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So we encourage Jeenorunian and everyone else to always pray in Jesus name.
