Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Ethan to you. We acknowledge that he is going through a difficult time, burdened by severe depression and thoughts of suicide. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in his life. We pray that you would surround him with your love, peace, and comfort, dispelling all worries and fears that torment his mind.
In your Word, you promise to be near to the brokenhearted and to save those who are crushed in spirit . We claim this promise for Ethan, asking that you would draw near to him in his time of need. Bring healing to his mind, body, and soul, and grant him the strength to overcome this darkness.
We also pray for Cindy, his mother-in-law, who is deeply concerned for Ethan's well-being. Grant her wisdom, patience, and the ability to provide support and encouragement to Ethan during this challenging season. Surround her with your peace and give her the words to speak life and hope into Ethan's heart.
Lord, we know that you are the ultimate source of hope and restoration. We ask that you would guide Ethan to the help he needs, whether it be through counseling, therapy, or medical intervention. Provide him with a support system of caring individuals who can walk alongside him on this journey towards healing.
We declare victory over the enemy's plans for Ethan's life. We rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide in the mighty name of Jesus. Fill Ethan with your joy, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose. May he experience your love in a tangible way, knowing that he is never alone.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. May Ethan's story be a testimony of your redeeming power and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
