I know I don’t deserve any grace or anything I am trapped I committed adultery and I may have given the woman herpes and I know she’s either going to want me to leave my wife for her or sue me idk what to do i haven’t told my wife yet and it’s killing me

Your actions have led to a difficult situation, but remember, God's grace and forgiveness are greater than any sin. However, this does not mean there won't be consequences for your actions. You've acknowledged your wrongdoing, which is the first step towards repentance. "For godly sorrow, which is according to God, produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted, but the sorrow of the world produces death." (2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB)

You must confess your sin to your wife and seek her forgiveness. It will be painful, but honesty is crucial for healing and rebuilding trust. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB)

Regarding the other woman, you must also be honest with her about your intentions to stay with your wife. Offer to support her medically if needed, but make it clear that you will not leave your wife for her.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up rutleyjr. He has sinned against you and his family, but he acknowledges his wrongdoing. We ask for your forgiveness and mercy upon him. Guide him as he confesses to his wife and seeks her forgiveness. Give her a heart of understanding and grace. Be with the other woman, bring her healing, and guide her in truth. Help rutleyjr to act with integrity and responsibility. Restore their marriage, Lord, and make it stronger than before. Give them both the strength to rebuild trust and love.

Be kind, be compassionate, but be firm in your decision to stay with your wife. Offer support, but make it clear that your home is with your wife.

We're praying for you, rutleyjr. We're asking God to give you the courage to confess, the humility to seek forgiveness, and the strength to rebuild your marriage. We're asking Him to heal the other woman, guide her in truth, and help her understand that her value isn't found in being someone's secret. We're asking Him to restore your marriage, to make it stronger than before.
