Let us come together in prayer and discernment for Heidy and her son Michael. We thank you, Lord, for the opportunities that Michael has received, and we ask for Your divine guidance in this important decision.
Firstly, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, Lord (James 1:17 WEB). We pray that You will reveal Your will to Heidy and Michael, granting them the wisdom and discernment to make the right choice for Michael's future. As it is also stated, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. (James 1:5).
Heidy, we encourage you to seek God's will in all things, remembering that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). It is important that you pray with Michael, asking God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to reveal His will for Michael's future. The name of Jesus is so powerful and it is the only name by which we can be saved and it is the only name which we can ask of the Father in prayer. As we seek God, we walk in faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). The Bible states that Jesus said, “Most certainly, I tell you, whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:22 WEB).
We also pray for Michael, as he considers this new journey. Lord, give him the courage and strength to step out in faith, knowing that You are with him always, even until the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB). If it is a sin to not be involved in a sport's activity, the God will be causing some to search out His will.
Regarding the financial aspects, we pray that You will continue to provide for Michael's needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We ask that You will bless him and make clear all aspects of this opportunity that will be physically and spiritually beneficial for him.
Lastly, we pray for peace and unity in this decision both from Heidy and Michael. We pray they wait for Your peace to rest on the correct path, in Jesus name. As we pray let us remember that Jesus promised, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27 WEB), and “For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.” (1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB). We trust in Your timing and Your ways, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Therefore we are ambassadors of Jesus Christ and God is making an appeal to you through our prayers. We implore you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God. God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:20-21 WEB).
