We join with you, Dunlewen, in lifting up your son Dennis to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as it is in His name that we have access to the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and approach God, as it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We pray that God will keep Dennis safe and healthy, wherever he may be. We ask for God's divine protection and provision for him, as it is written in Matthew 6:25-26 WEB: "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
We also pray that God will guide Dennis off the streets and provide him with a safe and stable environment. We ask that God will open doors and make a way where there seems to be no way, as it is written in Isaiah 43:19 WEB: "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
We encourage you to trust in the Lord and rest in the knowledge that God loves and cares for Dennis even more than you do. Continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
As you wait for Dennis to call, we pray for you to keep your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of the race. As it is written in James 5:7-8 WEB, "Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it receives the early and late rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand."
Finally, we pray that Dennis will call you soon and that your love for him will be evident in your words and actions. We pray that this situation will ultimately draw both of you closer to God and each other.
In Jesus' name, we pray for you and Dennis. Amen
