We are deeply concerned to hear about the struggles of your son, Dennis. Let us come together and lift him up in prayer, trusting in the transformative power of God's grace and mercy.
Firstly, we must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let us pray in His name, knowing that His power can break every chain.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dennis to You. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding his imprisonment and the struggles he faces with addiction. We ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Keep him safe in jail, Lord, and let him feel Your presence and love in a profound way. Guide the court proceedings, that they may be fair and just, and that Dennis may receive the help he truly needs.
Father, we know that Dennis is a precious soul to You. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 43:1 (WEB), "Now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: Donβt be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine." Lord, let Dennis know that he is Yours, and that Your desire is for him to prosper and be in health, even as his soul prospers (3 John 1:2, WEB).
We also pray for deliverance from the bondage of addiction. Lord Jesus, You said in Your Word that "if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36, WEB). Break the chains of addiction in Dennis' life, Lord. Surround him with godly counsel and support, that he may receive the help he needs to overcome this struggle.
Lastly, we pray for Valfyl, that You would comfort and strengthen them in this time. Give them peace, Lord, knowing that Dennis is in Your hands, and that Your will is being done in his life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Valfyl, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. God is faithful, and He will never leave nor forsake Dennis (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Keep praying and believing for God's will to be done in his life.
