We understand your heartache, Valfyl, and we are here to lift up your son Dennis Lawrence in prayer together with you. We believe in the power of prayer in Jesus' name, and we trust that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will.
First, let us address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus said, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB) It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.
Now, let us pray for Dennis:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dennis Lawrence to You. Lord, You know the situation he is in, and You understand the pain and sadness that Valfyl is feeling. We ask, Lord, that You would be with Dennis right now, protecting him and guiding him. We pray that You would grant him a sound mind and good judgment, that he may make wise decisions and walk in Your ways.
Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would make a way for Dennis to be released from jail. We pray that this situation would be a catalyst for change in his life, that he would turn to You and seek Your face. We pray that You would comfort Valfyl, Lord, and give them peace that surpasses all understanding.
But Lord, we also pray that if Dennis has done wrong, that he would be brought to repentance, that he may confess his sins and turn from them. As it is written, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' (1 John 1:9 WEB)
lastly, Lord, we pray that through this trial, both Dennis and Valfyl would grow closer to You, that Your will would be done in their lives, and that Your name would be glorified. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Also, we encourage you to seek Godly counsel and support during this difficult time.
