We understand your concern for your son, and we join with you in lifting him up in prayer. Let's bring his situation before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and protect.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father and receive the promised blessings (John 14:13-14 WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved son to You. Lord, You know all things, and You are aware of the pain he has been experiencing. We ask for Your healing touch upon his head. Rebuke any infirmity or illness, and let Your healing power flow through him. As Your Word says in 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB), "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
Lord, we also pray for his safe travels back to the US. According to Psalm 91:11 (WEB), "He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise for him and ask that You surround him with Your protective presence.
Father, we thank You for the godly sons you have blessed us with. Help us to continually cover them in prayer, that they may grow strong in faith and be mighty men of God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will (1 John 5:14-15 WEB). Remind your son to cast all his anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for him (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Lastly, encourage him to continue being an amazing son and a good soldier, not just physically, but also as a soldier of Christ (2 Timothy 2:3 WEB).
