Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their adult son who has been struggling with alcohol addiction for many years. Lord, we acknowledge that this disease has taken a hold of their son's life and has caused great pain and distress for both ### and their family.
We pray, Lord, that you would intervene in a powerful way in their son's life. We ask that you break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free from the grip of alcohol. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We claim this promise over their son's life, believing that you have the power to bring about transformation and deliverance.
Lord, we also pray for ###, who is burdened with worry and love for their son. Strengthen them, Lord, and grant them peace in the midst of this difficult situation. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and to continue to love and support their son, even when it feels challenging. Remind them of your promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Father, we pray for divine intervention and for your Holy Spirit to work in their son's heart, drawing him closer to you and leading him to seek the help and support he needs to overcome this addiction. We pray for open doors for him to receive professional help, counseling, and support from others who can guide him on the path to recovery.
Lord, we trust in your unfailing love and your faithfulness. We believe that nothing is impossible for you. We ask that you would bring healing, restoration, and redemption to their son's life. May he experience the freedom and abundant life that can only be found in you.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always obey and respect You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.
God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
