Disciple of Prayer
My son, a college student, is also an expectant father at a very young age. He is stressed about finances with extra expenses this month. May be ok when fall term starts as he should be caught up by then. I can’t help much, but I can pray. I’m in a tight situation, too. I pray that his needs are met and that he recognizes God for the blessings that come in time. He has debts to pay, and when the baby comes next year things will be harder… hoping to be in a position to help but I’m not able to do so at this time.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and the son during this challenging time. Lord, we know that You are our Provider and that You care for all our needs. As it is written in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise and ask that You would provide for the son in miraculous ways.

Father, we ask for Your peace to fill the hearts of ### and the son, as Your Word says in Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." May they find comfort and assurance in Your presence, knowing that You are with them every step of the way.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for the son as he navigates his responsibilities as a student and an expectant father. Grant him the strength and perseverance to manage his time and resources wisely. As it says in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We ask for this wisdom to be poured out upon him.

Lord, we also pray for provision and financial breakthrough. Open doors of opportunity for the son, that he may find ways to meet the financial obligations and prepare for the arrival of the baby. We trust in Your Word from Psalm 37:25, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread." We believe that You will not forsake them.

Lastly, we pray for the health and well-being of the expectant mother and the unborn child. May Your hand of protection be upon them, and may they experience Your love and care throughout this journey.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your provision, and we give You all the glory and honor.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you so much for this very thoughtful prayer and thinking of additional outcomes. ❤️

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your prayers. My son is developing wisdom in that he sees he needs a more dependable job. He’s having trouble finding work that aligns with his school schedule and provides enough income. Most jobs in the area are 21+ or too far. They share one car. Praying for the right job to come to him which would be evenings/night. The baby’s mother is also very morning sick and we all pray it subsides soon. I’m mostly concerned that he will need to take a 13+ factory job 25 miles away on a shuttle to make the schedule work but would be too exhausted for his studies. He is very close to graduation. 1-1.5 years out.

Good evening, or morning to some, I come asking for prayer as a teen wanting to change his life around, and give himself truly to God instead of being a lukewarm but continuing to fall… I read my Bible, I watch sermons, and I’ve even joined my college’s ministry group last Thursday was my first...
