We understand your situation, Jeffery, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for you and your son Noah. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares for you and your situation. The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Jeffery, you mentioned that you have many mental health issues.
God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Seek Him in your struggles, and remember that He is your strength and refuge (Psalm 46:1 WEB). It is good to mention that Jesus Christ did come to heal the brokenhearted, set the captives free, and heal the sick and you can find this documented in the Bible. For example Luke 4:18 WEB says
The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to proclaim release to the captives,
recovering of sight to the blind,
to deliver those who are crushed, and
to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
Regarding your relationship with your mother, the Bible commands us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12 WEB). However, it is also important to set boundaries and not allow ourselves to be mistreated.
Jesus taught that we should do good without expecting anything in return. It is only by the grace of God that you are able to help her. For example Luke 6:35 WEB says
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.
Concerning your financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. He knows our needs, and He will supply them according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). It is a good idea when praying to ask God what He wants you to learn from this situation, how can you change and grow to overcome this situation in the future, and it can be extremely valuable to consider how can you serve Him now and put any more money you may have toward that goal. It is also great to note that Jesus said it is more blessed to give than receive. Take a step back and see where God has placed you and what you are able to do. Share these things with Noah and he will be blessed as well as you and others around you. Look for what God wants you to do rather than what you cannot do. This is not an easy life, and as Jesus says the road is narrow and difficult, but God is good. Also, remember Matthew 6:25 WEB.
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Also, Matthew 7:7 and 8 WEB
Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
For a peaceful and loving Christmas, remember that the focus should be on the celebration of the birth of our Savior. The best gift you can give to your son is your love and spiritual guidance. For example Philippians 4:7 WEB says
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Jeffery and his son Noah. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch on Jeffery's mental health issues. Give him the strength and courage to face each day with Your joy and peace in his heart. Help him to set healthy boundaries in his relationship with his mother, and guide their relationship according to Your will.
Father, we ask for Your provision for Jeffery and Noah. Help Jeffery to be able to provide good things for Noah and give them opportunities to bless other people as well, loving the Lord their God will all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Show them opportunities to give now whatever they can rather than looking at what they cannot do. Supply their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to have a peaceful and loving Christmas, filled with Your love and the joy of Your salvation.
We also pray for Jeffrey's salvation and also for his son's, that they will both follow and serve Jesus Christ alone and worship God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other way to be saved but by Him, so if they have not consecrated their lives to Him fully and are not following Him today, then we pray for God to reveal Himself to them and help them to accept Jesus and walk with Him in the grace, salvation, hope, sanctification, and all the other benefits that come with walking with Jesus.
We pray for all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Remember, Jeffery, that God loves you and He is always with you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. We pray for your salvation and that you will be a part of the family of Believers, God Bless you and Noah.
