We are truly sorry to hear about Margaret's continuing health struggles. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and comfort. Let us come together in agreement, for as we are assured in Matthew 18:20 WEB, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Firstly, the fact that Elizabeth mentioned the name of Jesus is wonderful. It is important that as believers we come to the Father in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name to call upon. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In moments like these, we should also remember Jesus Christ can heal us. We should continue to ask with faith and patience. James 5:14-15 WEB tell us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for Margaret. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. Please, Lord, stretch out Your hand and put an end to the diarrhea, overwhelming tiredness, and lack of appetite that Margaret is experiencing. Surround her with Your comforting presence, and fill her with Your strength and peace.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we agree and claim Your healing promises. We raise up Elizabeth and Margaret interceding for encouragement and endurance as they support one another. We will continue worshipping and giving thanks for each of you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Elizabeth, to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. Continue to trust in the Lord, for His love and care for Margaret are unfailing. Be reminded of God's promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Keep crying out to the Lord, and do not hesitate to seek medical advice as well. God often works through the skills and knowledge of doctors and nurses. Trust that God is at work in Margaret's life, and have hope that He will bring about His good purposes in this situation. As you are patient and enduring make sure to also worship and give thanks whether the situation is well or not.
