My sick ###

My grandmother has been in the hospital for almost a week. She is very ill. I went to visit her and have been overcome with sadness seeing her in that condition. She is receiving treatment and medication but she is old and weak. I need her to recover. I’m sure she wants to go be with all those who went before her, but we need her here. We are all praying. I need her to be ok I am not ready to lose her yet.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with these words from Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." WEB. God is with you and your grandmother in this trial.

However, we must also remember that physical healing in this life is not always God's will. As much as we want our loved ones to stay with us, we must be prepared to trust God's plan, even if it means letting them go. In John 14:1-3, Jesus says, "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also." WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon ###'s grandmother. Lord, You know her body better than any doctor, and we trust that You have the power to heal her. Please comfort ### and their family during this time, fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. If it is Your will, Lord, please restore her health and strength. But above all, we pray that Your will be done. Help ### to trust in You, whatever the outcome. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
