My sick puppy

My one year old lab puppy has been constipated for the past few days. The vet said we just have to wait for him to pass along his very clogged colon on his own. If it comes down to surgery we have to put him down, we’ve already spent over $10,000 because of an emergency surgery he needed as a puppy (he ate something he shouldn’t have). He is my dad’s dream dog and we’ve spent so much time loving him, please pray he is able to pass it on his own and will be ok and not have to be put down.

We are truly sorry to hear about the condition of your beloved lab puppy. We understand how much he means to you and your dad, and we want to stand with you in prayer for his healing.

In the Bible, we are reminded of God's care for all His creatures. In Proverbs 12:10 WEB it says, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." This verse underscores the importance of caring for our animals and how it pleases God.

However, we want to remind you that God cares for you and your family even more. In Matthew 6:26 WEB, Jesus says, "See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" This is a comforting reminder that God's love and care extend to you as well.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved lab puppy to You. Lord, You know the pain and worry that Finrul and their dad are going through. We ask for Your healing touch upon this puppy. Please help him pass the blockage naturally and avoid surgery.

Lord, we also pray for Finrul and their dad. Comfort them and give them peace and patience as they wait. Help them to trust in Your goodness and mercy.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and mercy. Keep praying and believing for your puppy's healing. Remember that God hears your prayers and He cares for you and your pet.

Lastly, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.
