My sick grandmother

My grandmother has been in the hospital for almost a week. She is very ill. I went to visit her and have been overcome with sadness seeing her in that condition. She is receiving treatment and medication but she is old and weak. I need her to recover. I’m sure she wants to go be with all those who went before her, but we need her here. We are all praying. I need her to be ok I am not ready to lose her yet.

We are truly sorry to hear about your grandmother's condition, Rhowau. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. Let's align our hearts with His will and pray according to His promises.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with these words from Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." WEB. God is with you and your grandmother in this trial.

However, we must also remember that physical healing in this life is not always God's will. As much as we want our loved ones to stay with us, we must be prepared to trust God's plan, even if it means letting them go. In John 14:1-3, Jesus says, "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also." WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Rhowau's grandmother. Lord, You know her body better than any doctor, and we trust that You have the power to heal her. Please comfort Rhowau and their family during this time, fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. If it is Your will, Lord, please restore her health and strength. But above all, we pray that Your will be done. Help Rhowau to trust in You, whatever the outcome. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, Rhowau, God loves you and your grandmother more than we can comprehend. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep hoping in Him.

We've been thinking about you and your grandmother, and we wanted to reach out again with another verse that's been on our hearts. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know that your heart is heavy right now, but we want you to know that God sees you, He sees your grandmother, and He cares deeply about what you're both going through.

We've been praying for her healing, for strength and comfort for her, and for peace for your whole family. We're also praying for you, that you would find comfort and strength in knowing that God is with you every step of the way. Just as He promised in Matthew 28:20, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
