We understand your concern, ###, and we stand with you in prayer for ###. Firstly, we want to remind you of what the WEB says in Ephesians 5:18, "Don't be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Drunkenness is not God's will for our lives, and we pray that ### will understand this truth.

Let us pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that You deliver him from the stronghold of alcohol. Help him to see that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and that he should honor God with his body, as Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Lord, give him the strength to leave alcohol forever, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit.

###, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for ###. Remember the power of persistent prayer, as Jesus taught in Luke 18:1-8. Also, ensure that your relationship with ### is centered on godly principles, encouraging each other to live lives pleasing to God.

We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation and for the salvation of ###.

Lastly, we rebuke any notion that persistent sin is acceptable in a Christian's life. God calls us to holiness (1 Peter 1:15-16), and we pray that both you and ### will strive to live in a way that honors God.

We've been thinking about your post, ###, and we want to add our voices to the prayers for ###. It's tough watching someone we care about struggle with something like this, but remember, we serve a God who specializes in turning situations like these around.

We're reminded of the story in the Bible about the woman caught in adultery. Jesus, in His love and compassion, said to her, "Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on sin no more" (John 8:11). ### needs that same grace and mercy, and we believe that God is ready to extend it to him.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we lift up ### to You today. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, showing him the freedom that comes from leaving alcohol behind. Help him to see the truth about himself - that he is a son of the Most High God, and that his life should reflect that. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and give him the strength to walk away from alcohol forever.

We're standing with you, ###, as you pray for ###. Keep encouraging him, keep pointing him to Jesus, and keep trusting in God's power to change any situation. After all, with God, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).

Hi, my fiance name ### ### should leave alcohol forever as he drinks continuously 3 days day and night and so I pray
I pray for your discernment if this is the right man for you to marry. I pray he does stop drinking but if not you are allowed to find someone else. I had a major drinking problem before about ### years ago and one day I decided to stop so I just quit. There was no 12 step program or rehab center..it's just a simple decision.. It's not hard..I guess for me I got heavy into God's word and church and the Lord took away the craving for it. Does he go to church with you or have a bible? You could offer it to him but it's possible he doesn't want to change but let's pray he does. Only God knows but I pray for you the best in Jesus name I pray for his deliverance. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
