We understand your concern for your son's upcoming test and we will join you in prayer for his success and God's will.
Let's remember the words of Scripture, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" James 1:5 WEB.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this mother's concern for her son. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with retaining information and taking tests. We ask that You grant him the wisdom and recall he needs to pass this test with flying colors, as he has applied himself to his studies. Help him to rely on you instead of being anxious. Please quiet his mind, bring back to his memory what he has studied and allow him to put his knowledge on paper.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirits of anxiety, fear of failure, or nervousness. Help him to be confident in his academic abilities and in the knowledge that You are always with him.
Moreover, we pray that You will guide him in his future studies and career path, giving him a heart that seeks Your will above all else. Help him to always testify of Your goodness and love.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is the source of all knowledge and wisdom.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord, for He cares for you. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" Philippians 4:6 WEB.
In closing, we are concerned that your prayer did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or even an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5. We do not want to discourage you from praying as you have. This is just something for you to consider and remember.
