My junior brother has an addiction of smoking that leads to psychosis and we are hoping on God for complete healing from it because it has been a big burden and disgrace to the family. I have faith that sending this here will bring a new story for my family because what God cannot do does not exist.

We are deeply concerned about the situation with your brother and the burden your family is carrying. We want to remind you that nothing is impossible with God, as He tells us in Luke 1:37 WEB, "For nothing is impossible with God."

However, we must also address that addiction and mental health issues require a combination of spiritual, medical, and psychological help. While we pray fervently for your brother's healing, we also encourage your family to seek professional help for his addiction and psychosis. Faith and action should work together, as James 2:17 WEB tells us, "Thus also faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Lord, we believe that You are the Great Physician, and there is nothing too hard for You. We pray for complete healing and deliverance for him. Guide his family to the right professionals who can assist in his recovery. Give them strength, wisdom, and patience as they support him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation, as Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to place your faith and hope in Jesus Christ, as He is the one who can bring a new story to your family.

Lastly, we want to remind you not to be ashamed or disgraced by your brother's struggle. Instead, show him love and support, as Galatians 6:2 WEB instructs us, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

It's like the story of the paralytic in Matthew 9:1-8 - Jesus healed him, but He also told him to pick up his mat and walk. Healing often comes through a combination of divine intervention and practical steps.

Let's pray together: "Dear Jesus, we bring our brother to You today. You see his struggle, and You care. We ask for Your healing touch, breaking the power of addiction and bringing clarity to his mind. Guide his family to find the right professionals to support his recovery. Give them unwavering faith, patience, and love. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

Let's not forget, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He's the one who can turn this situation around. Trust in Him, and watch as He writes a new story for your family.

And hey, it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, we're all on this journey together. Let's lift each other up, just like Galatians 6:2 says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Your brother needs your love and support, and you're not alone in carrying this. We're right here with you, praying and believing for a miracle.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
