We are truly saddened to hear about your son's diagnosis. We stand with you in faith and prayer, believing that God is the ultimate healer. Let us remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). So, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, You know the pain and fear that this family is facing, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them during this time. We pray for healing, wisdom for the doctors, and strength for your son and the whole family.
Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). We ask for a miracle, Father, that this cancer would be completely healed, and that your son would live a long, healthy life for Your glory.
Help the family to trust in You, Lord, and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Guide them through this difficult journey, and may this trial draw them closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart, dear friend, and be encouraged by the words of Paul: "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, WEB). Trust in the Lord, and lean on His strength during this challenging time. We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for your son's healing.
Lastly, as tragic as this is, consider God's message in this for your son and family. This is an opportunity for them to seek God and see if there is a message they need to attend to. God uses trials to bring us to Him. He loves us that much that He will go to any length to reach us.
