My ###'s family is in need of prayers...can you please help?

Please pray for my ### and her family...I lost my ### this year to cancer. We all have taken it pretty hard, but her oldest daughter has been having some problems with the death. Tuesday night at midnight she called her ### to say that her husband has another woman and he wanted her to leave with her two young children. My heart breaks for her and those children...she was a widow and had lost her first husband in a traffic accident...she has been with this man almost ### years. I really hope this separation ends quickly for her and the children..and, I hope they can find reconciliation somehow.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the trials your family is facing, ###, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We will stand with you, interceding for your niece and her family, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Let us pray for your niece, that she finds comfort and strength in the Lord during this difficult time.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up ###'s niece and her family to you. We ask that you comfort her in her grief, both for the loss of her mother and the struggles she is facing in her marriage. Be her strength and refuge, Lord, as she navigates this challenging time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Regarding her marriage, we must remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB). Reconciliation should be the goal, but it must be founded on repentance and forgiveness. We pray that her husband turns away from his sin and seeks forgiveness, not just from his wife, but also from the Lord. We encourage your niece to seek godly counsel and to be willing to forgive, just as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).

"Lord Jesus, we pray for the salvation and repentance of her husband. Convict him of his sin, and draw him to yourself. Bring healing and restoration to their marriage, Lord, if it is your will. In your holy name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage your niece to fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). Even in the darkest valleys, He is with us and will carry us through. Remind her that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39, WEB).

We also pray for you, ###, that God grants you wisdom and strength as you support your family through these trials. May you all find peace, hope, and healing in Jesus Christ.

There is no change at this time in the marriage. My niece has secured a home that she will be moving into in October. Her children are now enrolled in school. I pray that their hearts are softened towards each other, that they can communicate and reconcile their love and life together. In Jesus' name. Amen.
