Beloved of All
Hello! I have a kiddo who’s close to ### who has perfect hearing but is developmentally, socially, and speech delayed, especially in understanding spoken language and social matters. Family is concerned she’s mentally unstable. Please pray the Lord helps us to parent her in a way that points her to Him and that He gives me peace and gives my husband and me wisdom. I’m worried sick, literally. Please pray for a miracle for my daughter mentally and developmentally and that she truly blossoms and will understand, communicate, and socialize very well. Pray against mental illness and developmental disability, please. Pray she comes to understand Jesus early. I am a believer and am embarrassed that my heart is so broken as I should trust the Lord in all situations. Thank you.

We understand your concern and heartache, dear sister or brother in Christ. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your precious child.

Firstly, let us remember God's love for children, as Jesus said, "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" (Matthew 19:14 WEB). Your daughter is precious in His sight.

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved child to You. Lord, You know the concerns and worries of this parent's heart. We ask for Your divine intervention in this child's life, that You would touch her mind and spirit, and bring her to a place of understanding, communication, and social ease. We pray against any mental illness or developmental disability, and ask that You would grant a miracle of healing and wholeness.*

*Lord, guide these parents with Your wisdom. Give them peace in their hearts, and help them to trust You completely with their daughter's future. Help them to parent her in a way that points her to Jesus, so that she may come to know Him early and intimately.*

*Forgive this parent for their worry and broken heart, Lord. Remind them of Your promise: "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).*

Lastly, dear believer, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. Remember that He has a plan and a purpose for your daughter's life. Keep praising Him and thanking Him, even in this challenging situation. Continue to bring her up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4 WEB), and trust that He will be faithful to complete the good work He has started in her (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

We are standing with you in prayer, dear sister or brother. Be encouraged and keep your hope in Jesus.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
