We join you in your heartfelt prayer, seeking God's forgiveness and guidance for the future. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
In your feeling down, we want to assure you that your life is precious in God's sight. He has a purpose and a plan for you, and your feelings of despair can be replaced with hope and vision for the future. Let the words from God's word in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB encourage you 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.'
However, we want to gently correct the closing words of your prayer. The phrase glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, is a doxology often used in certain liturgical traditions and is not a direct quotation from Scripture. Instead, we encourage you to use scriptural references and prayers that directly come from the Bible. For example, you could use the closing words of the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:13 WEB 'For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.'
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come boldly before Your throne of grace in Jesus' name, seeking mercy and forgiveness for our sins. Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Lord, we ask that You reveal to Your child a vision of their future and fill their heart with hope. Comfort them in their despair and remind them that You have a good plan for their life. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 30:5 WEB 'For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.' Trust in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to reveal His will for your life. He is faithful, and He will do it.
