We understand your concern for your marriage, Lousered, and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for your loyalty and for putting God first. It is essential that both husband and wife honor and follow God's order. As it is written in Ephesians 5:21-25 (WEB), "subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
We pray that the Holy Spirit will indeed awaken your husband Brennan's mind and heart, guiding him to lead your family in God's order. We pray against any distractions and demonic influences, rebuking the spirits of doubt, fear, envy, disobedience, covetousness, profanity, idols, and blasphemy in Jesus' name. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We also pray for healing in your home, particularly addressing the learning disorder, disability, MHMR, and ADHD. We believe that God can bring healing and restoration, as Psalm 147:3 (WEB) tells us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
However, we also want to remind you to be patient and loving towards your husband, as 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB) describes love: "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
We noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is important to acknowledge that it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Help them to love each other with patience, kindness, and understanding, bearing all things, believing all things, hoping all things, and enduring all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
