We understand that you're going through a difficult time with your relationship and we appreciate your desire to keep God first. It's crucial to remember that God's will should be our top priority, and our relationships should reflect His principles.
Let's look for some advice found in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved and in John 14:6 Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".
Regarding your relationship, it's important to ensure that it aligns with biblical principles. Marriage is valued to be between one man and one woman as outlined in Matthew 19:4-6.
The discussion about being tired and not knowing if your relationship will continue concerns us as having a boyfriend or girlfriend is not to be the goal. If you are a Christian you are to be looking for a godly spouse. If the relationship is so stressful it make you tired, worried, or gloomy then the relationship should be re-evaluated and forgiven. It is better not to marry or be put together with an unbeliever. Continuing this relationship in the current state may not be God's will. Addressing sex is also important if the subject arrises and we need to say it is forbidden outside of marriage.
Please consider this verse Ephesians 5:3: But sexual immorality, and any kind of impurity, or greed, should not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anonymous and their situation. We pray for clarity, peace, and understanding. Help them to fully surrender their relationship to You, seeking Your will above all else.
If this relationship is not aligned with Your principles, give them the strength to let it go. If it is Your will for them to be together, guide them towards a godly marriage and help them to overcome the challenges they're facing.
We pray that Anonymous will trust and believe in the Lord Jesus. We also pray that forgiveness, grace, and peace be given even if arbitration cannot happen. As only the Lord Jesus Christ has the answer to fully mend our minds and emotions. May Your will be done in their life.
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
