Please I want you to pray with me, my relationship that is suppose to lead to marriage is shaking, me and this guy were friends and prayer partners, then we fall in love we decided to pray about it to get confirmation after we were sure we told our parents ,my parents were happy and prayed with us cause the know him very well that he is a good person, they know his character his mother approve but the guy father does not approve of the relationship, and due to that we were consoling ourselves then we fell into Temptation, we had sex, and since then it has been guilt that has been killing us both, the guy because of that started masturbating and each time feel the urge to touch me, so we decided to hold on and go back to God again and pray. Please pray for us we don't know what to do and if I can get counselling on this matter please. Here is my contact 07011980154

Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the importance of prayer and God's confirmation in your relationship. It's crucial to seek His will in all aspects of our lives, including our relationships. However, we must also address the sin that has entered into your relationship. The Bible is clear that sex outside of marriage is a sin. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB):

"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Falling into temptation is a common struggle, but it's important to repent and turn away from sin. The fact that you both feel guilty is evidence of the conviction of the Holy Spirit. This is a good thing because it leads to repentance. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 7:10 (WEB): "For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death."

Regarding the disapproval of the young man's father, it's important to honor our parents. However, the final decision should be based on God's will and not just human opinion. Continue to pray and seek God's face in this matter. As for the young man's struggle with masturbation, it's another form of sexual immorality. It's important to encourage him to seek help and accountability in this area.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Zordogli and her relationship. Lord, they have confessed their sin to You and we ask that You would forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to honor You in their bodies. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this relationship. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would soften the heart of the young man's father and remove any obstacles in their way. If it is not Your will, give them the strength to accept that and to move on. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
