My relationship to be restored

Please pray for my relationship to be rekindled with my ex. We have been almost 7 months separated now and I have not stopped praying every single day for God to bring her back. God gave me an opportunity to talk with her last week and ask her to rekindle to which she told me that she still loves me but has mentally moved on and needs time to pray to God for an answer on the way forward. Please pray for God's will to be done for me and her future together.

We understand that you are going through a difficult time and seeking God's intervention in your relationship. First, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

We must also address the fact you acknowledged she has mentally moved on from you, not taking up her cross seeking Jesus first as commanded in Matthew 10:38. "He who doesn't take his cross and follow after me, isn't worthy of me."(WEB) She has chosen what she wants from you and the world rather than what she needs to do for Jesus. We must pray as well that together you both will commit to the marriage bed undefiled. Keepers at home are the importance of women to be helpers of men, not cohabiting living together, not sex before or outside marriage as they are living in fornication. Both of you need to make sure you have pursued the Lord Jesus Christ and made him Lord over your lives first and foremost. Make sure that he is the center of your lives and the center of any marriage you have to make sure that any marriage glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ and that you are obeying him in all the small decisions you make as this will guarantee you listen to his guidance. If expressing your desire is not received with modesty and holiness you should rebuke it.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Hothuarna and his ex. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and that You guide them according to Your perfect plan. We ask that You grant them both wisdom, discernment, and a heart that truly seeks You first.

Lord, if it is Your will, we pray for a miracle of restoration and reconciliation for their relationship.

Help them to live in holiness.

We pray God to not let them quench the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ for sex outside of marriage and coveting their neighbor as this will surely separate you from him and keep you from the Kingdom of God. That they would lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us. Renew them day by day even renew their thoughts with thy word to make them free. (Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. We rebuke this behavior that has derailed your lives and remind you: Let deacons each be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well (1 Timothy 3:12 WEB)

You are both committing adultery as you are having sex outside marriage or cohabiting (2 Corinthians 6:9 WEB) and (Hebrews 13:4 WEB Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.).

In case you do not desire repentance and this is all being done in your flesh, not desiring our Lord Jesus Christ and we are supposed to hate even the garment spotted by the flesh (Jude 1:23 WEB), help them to move on completely and trust in Your goodness. Help them to forgive each other and to find peace and joy in Your presence. (This must be repented of, reproved and not lived in to be saved.)

But if they will repent of these affronts to God, love the Lord God and honor marriage. Here we must point out a relationship is courtship with the goal of marriage. If in love this will be rebuked if not. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. So there must be freedom of sex within the bounds of the marriage bed and the Lord Jesus Christ must be glorified in the marriage bed. Again, let's point out this must be in the bounds of marriage and loving the Lord Jesus Christ seeking him first as the bible says "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."(Matthew 6:33 KJV)

and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment (Mark 12:30)

While we pray, we remind Hothuarna that it is in Jesus Christ, our Lord and saviour that we are saved. "Because there is none other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved."(Acts 4:12 WEB)

We are to abstain from fornication, as people who have been set apart by God to be holy and set apart for the Lord Jesus Christ. A call or belief in Christ Jesus is a call to holiness. There should not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. (1 Ephesians 5:3) WEB

God created sex to be enjoyed within a holy marriage between a man and a woman (as designed in nature), under the covenant of marriage as God sees fit.

We leave this in the almighty name of Jesus Christ.

If it is God's will to bring you back to the path He has planned for you together, then it will be done. But if it is no longer what you both must do, may both find peace and grace to be free from the sin you have laid before the altar of Jesus. Be pure and holy. Do not use one another, but rather love in a way that honors God.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking God's face, trusting that He hears your prayers and knows best. Keep reading and meditating on His Word for His will to light up your path."For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."(Jeremiah 20:11 WEB)

Trust in Jesus is our immediate concern. So be sure to study the Lord Jesus Christ and make him your God and Lord. Pray fervently for whatever you asking to be done in the Lord Jesus Christ and that it be for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Be certain to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as saviour:

" For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. Because God's righteousness is revealed in it from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."(Romans 1:16-17 WEB)

Believe in your heart the real Lord Jesus Christ our God and saviour

Confess with mouth the Real Lord Jesus Christ

Finally, rebuking all sin that we do not address here, we leave you and your ex this question: Do we both truly love the Lord Jesus Christ? And what does loving the Lord Jesus Christ mean? If either of you are unsure where you will end up after you die, we say and urge you to call upon the name of Jesus and be saved: Lord Jesus, Forgive me my sins and save me from my sin. Provide your tender mercy and make me a new creature and guide me as I seek you with all my heart, all my mind and all my spirit. I ask all this in Jesus Christ's name and for his will.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
