My problem, I've been forced into a lifestyle I hate. I used to look at these "type A personalities", who "multitask" mother rushing with the baby carriagewhile on th cellphone, and trying to do a third thing at the same time,someone when supposedly on "downtime in a restaurant with their family, yakking on the cellphone about business, people texting or talking on the cell while driving.I use to make fun of such people, they equate being busy with being "important."But lately, the ratrace is breathing so heavily down my back.that I myself have fallen into the same lifestyle that I hate!!Prayer request is for the pace to slow, so there's not too much happening at once,or popping up at bad times.Thank you.
I can relate. We don't have to fall to deep into the trap of using the world's technology to distract ourselves away from God friend. It's all wisdom God gave someone and one day they are going to either have been found thankful to Him for it or prideful. It's the same with the user. I use my phone to get on here all the while I'm working, answering calls & multitasking, even thanking and praising Jesus at the same time. It's one of the ways we can understand how God hears, sees and helps all of us in the world at the same time. We all work together in the world to perform His purpose. Why do we worry about what our worldly brothers and sisters are doing, are we not all performing His purpose for our lives? Did we fall into a trap or did we find a new freedom? We can choose to use technology for our purpose, His purpose or not at all friend
It's amazing that we can read the Bible on our phones, look up a verse or definition, pray with each other on our phones, download instructions, share instructions, watch a show or a movie on our phones and I thank and praise Jesus for it and I use it and I love it unto Jesus

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
