Shruemor, we understand your desire to enhance your physical appearance, but we want to remind you that God looks at the heart, not merely the outward appearance. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB, "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don't look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
True beauty comes from within, and it is reflected in our character, our love for God, and our love for others. Proverbs 31:30 WEB reminds us, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."
While there is nothing wrong with wanting to look presentable, we should not be overly focused on our physical appearance. Instead, we should strive to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These qualities will make us truly beautiful in God's eyes.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with Shruemor to ask for help in seeing beauty as You see it. Help Shruemor to be a person that displays the fruits of the Spirit, and help Somaliona to see inner beauty. Lord, we know that all good things come from You. Lord, you promise in your word that you will give us the desires of our heart when we put you first. It is our prayer that you give Somaliona the desires of her heart. Help her to serve you and live according to your will. It is only in your will that we find happiness and contentment. If it is your will, please provide for Somaliona a Godly husband that will love her, pray for her, protect her, provide for her, and honor her. Help them both to live their lives in a way that honors and glorifies You. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
