We join with you, Shruemor, in bringing your requests before the throne of grace, aligning with the promise in James 4:2-3, "You lust, and don't have. You kill, and are jealous, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask. You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. (John 14:6)
We pray that God will grant you better health and fill your heart with happiness that flows from His presence. We ask God for your joy to be made full as you find your peace in Him alone.
However, we must address the request to "double my money." While God wants us to prosper in all things (3 John 1:2), He also wants us to be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13). We are to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). We pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory, and that you will find contentment in His provisions. That God may provide the money, the finances, the provisions and needs you have that He knows best and in His timing.
We also pray that God will help you to see your problems through His lens, and that He will give you the strength and wisdom to face them rather than simply taking them away. Consider the words of James 1:2-4, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
In your request, be careful to avoid the attitude that God is a genie or that prayers are wishes. Remember the purpose of prayer is for our will to align with God's will and not for God to align with ours.
Please make sure your prayers are in accordance with God's will, and make sure you pray with the knowledge that His will be done. (Matthew 6:10)
Join us in praying, "Heavenly Father, you know Shruemor's needs better than anyone. We ask that you would grant them better health, fill their heart with your joy and peace, and provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Help them to see their problems through your lens, and give them the strength and wisdom to face them. Help them to find their happiness in your presence. We ask this all in accordance with your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
